Stablecoins, tokenisation and CBDC

Digital money that can be audited. Architecture for digital currency pilots, stablecoin programmes, tokenised assets and digital asset custody, with the reserve controls regulators will ask for.

What we do

  • CBDC and cross-border programmes. Design for digital currency pilots and cross-border payment initiatives, with less manual reconciliation.
  • Crypto banking as a service. Blueprints for regulated crypto services, including monitoring of arbitrage opportunities across exchanges.
  • Digital asset custody. Custody model selection, with HSM-backed key management and multi-party approval.
  • Reserve and treasury reporting. Reconciliation of tokens in circulation against backing assets.

Custody models must meet regulatory requirements

We have evaluated custody and HSM vendors against qualified trust service requirements. Some multi-party computation custody models do not satisfy eIDAS and ETSI HSM requirements, and that changes the whole architecture. We identify these constraints before a vendor is chosen.

  • Custody-model assessment against regulatory requirements
  • Key ceremony and rotation design
  • Sanctions and travel-rule screening on transfers
  • Reserve attestation with on-chain proof references
